Talking Snowboarding with Trung Nguyen
You may know Trung Nguyen through skateboarding (cue his standout parts in Late Nite Stars’ "Respectfully" and "The Circle”), but he’s started to strap in more and more over the years. We walked around Tokyo with him on the latest Thriftboards team trip to hear about the inspiration he’s found in snowboarding, how that’s influenced his most recent skate part, and why snowboarding is something he continues to pursue.

You practically need to be sponsored to justify doing some of these tricks because of what they do to the base of a snowboard hahaha. Like crossing asphalt, that 50/50 across the feature that’s around a minute into the video, etcetera. If you have a company giving you 20 boards to ride for a season then you can have at it, otherwise it’s pretty expensive 😂
